DHP Jam

On Saturday, April 4thDance House Productions will be hosting a Dance Jam from 2-4pm. This Jam is for students 7 years old and up. This event will allow us to come together outside of our weekly classes to dance and have fun. Students are allowed to bring a friend and parents are welcome to stay. There will be a $3 entrance fee. Hope to see you there!

Performance Teams

I am in the process of putting together our Performance Teams for our 2009-2010 dance season. These teams will perform at local events and competitions. Performance teams will be offered to all 3rd- 5thgraders as well as middle school and high school students. Please let Nicki know if you are interested. Once we find out who’s interested we will then determine how the teams will be organized. The teams will be small and there may not be enough room for everyone to join. To be on a performance team you must be able to attend all classes and performances along with being able to perform certain dance techniques. There are certain requirements each student must have before being allowed to join the teams. We are looking for dancers that are serious about dance and willing to work hard.

Class Interest

As our dance season comes to an end I begin to prepare for next year. As you all know I am working with one studio therefore I cannot offer every type of dance. I need your input. Attached is a sheet listing types of classes I could offer next year. In order to help me narrow down my choices, I am asking all my students that are going to return to DHP which classes they are interested in taking for our 2009-2010 dance season. Please take this seriously and only put down the classes you are interested in taking next year. By doing this it will help me put together the best possible schedule with minimal changes. I know a lot of you take more than one class and travel from different places. I am trying to come up with a schedule that will fit all your needs and save on traveling time. Please fill out the attached sheet and pass it in to me before April vacation.
