A Special First Dance Experience - Together
At Dance House Productions, our Parent & Child classes offer the perfect introduction to dance for toddlers aged 2–3. These engaging and playful sessions are designed to help little ones explore movement, rhythm, and social interaction—all with the comfort of a parent or caregiver by their side.
Each class is filled with age-appropriate songs, gentle stretching, basic dance steps, and creative movement games. We focus on building gross motor skills, listening skills, and confidence—while helping your child develop a love for music and motion in a warm, nurturing environment.
Start Your JourneyShared movement and music create a joyful experience that deepens emotional connection.
Simple steps, clapping, and jumping help improve coordination, balance, and gross motor control.
Toddlers begin to recognize beats, patterns, and tempo—key foundations for future dance classes.
Dancing with a trusted adult encourages little ones to explore movement without fear or pressure.
Age-appropriate class structure gently introduces the idea of following directions and routines.
Interaction with other families helps toddlers begin to develop social awareness and peer connection.
Each Parent & Child class includes simple movement activities, playful music, and imaginative games that help toddlers build coordination and confidence while bonding with their caregiver.
Ages 2-3 (plus parents!) only
For our Parent & Child classes, we recommend comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows little ones to move freely—think leggings, leotards, or soft t-shirts. Bare feet or grip socks are perfect for safety and balance on the dance floor, though soft ballet slippers are welcome too. Parents should also wear clothes they can comfortably move in—after all, you’ll be dancing right alongside your child! No formal dress code - just come ready to move, laugh, and have fun.
